Hors d’oeuvres
If you’re up at 4:00 a.m. EST on April 29 to watch the live coverage begin, your appetizers are breakfast. Try:
These are all dressed up with pastel chocolate-covered sunflower seeds:
double sunflower seeds scones from Allie
- Porridge (make this the night before)
We love these overnight oats. Right in a jar with a bit of SunButter left, mix in:
1/3 cup dry oats
1/3 cup Greek yogurt
1/3 cup milk
Refrigerate overnight. Warm in the morning and add berries or other fruits.
- A SunButter smoothie
Blend up two fruits, yogurt, milk or orange juice and 1 Tbsp. SunButter for each 6 oz. creation
- Try Dan’s supplement-rich smoothie
- Earl Grey or other tea, served British style (with milk)
Afternoon tea
Sources say Buckingham Palace’s afternoon tea includes two types of sandwiches, scones, pastries and a cake.
- Sandwiches
