Bacon-Sunflower Pinwheels
Ingredients
- 12 slices white crustless bread, (or regular - crusts removed)
- 1 1/2 pounds, thick bacon, slices cut in half
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup SunButter®
- 1/2 cup prepared mustard
- 1 T Worcestershire sauce
- 1 small jar of sunflower kernel
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 box of round toothpicks
Directions
- Lay 3 half-slices bacon side by side, top with 1 slice of bread
- Combine milk, SunButter®, mustard and Worcestershire sauce
- Spread 1 t of mixture on bread
- Sprinkle (on top of mixture) 1 T cheese, 1 t sunflower kernel
- Roll up bread in bacon slices, securing with 3 toothpicks
- Repeat with remaining bacon, bread, mustard sauce and cheese
- Refrigerate overnight
- Bake at 375° for 30 minutes, until golden brown; watch carefully
- Slice rolls into thirds
- Can be served hot or cold
