SunButter Spritz
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup SunButter®
- 1 1/4 cups sifted flour
- 1/2 t baking soda
- 1 T hot water
Directions
Cream shortening in classic batter bowl, gradually add sugars and beat until light. Add egg, SunButter®, and hot water. Sift flour and soda together and gradually add dry ingredients to the mixture. Pack dough into cookie press with medium scoop. Force dough through desired shapes and press 2” apart on ungreased baking stones. Bake @ 375° for 10-15 minutes or until edges are set but not browned. Cool 1 minute on baking stones. Remove cookies from stone with mini-serving spatula and cool completely on non-stick cooling racks.
